茨瓦尼理工大学
茨瓦尼理工大学是2004年1月1日由原比勒陀利亚理工大学（Technikon Pretoria）和北豪登理工大学（Technikon Northern Gauteng）及西北理工大学（Technikon North-West）合并而成。合并之后的理工大学人数约为6万人左右，其中6000名左右的国际学生。
原比勒陀利亚理工大学成立于1906年，校园环境优美、学生服务设施完善、气氛友好融洽，有30000多在校学生，是一所具有世界级水准的理工大学。比勒陀利亚理工大学也是南非第一所将培养学生的企业家技能作为办学方向的学术机构，“学以致用”是它的办学宗旨，其企业式管理以及对知识有用化的投入已使该校成为非洲撒哈拉以南地区最生机勃勃和先进的高等教育场所。
